Pick up and Pay
Congratulations! You’ve won the lot. So what now?
Within one day after auction you will get a confirmation e-mail about your won vehicle. You will find the invoice a short time later online in your Copart account. This is due immediately. All payments must be received within three business days with receipt of the invoice on our bank account, otherwise a late payment fee will be due for payment. If no payment can be received after six business days, the purchase will be cancelled for a fee. Payments must be made by bank transfer from your registered company account to our account. Payments made by third parties will be rejected.
Payments of Buyer Fees, Internet Bid Fees, Lot Retrieval Fees and any other applicable fees, will also be required. Please see our Member Fees and Pricelist for full details on our fees.
When you make a payment, it will be applied first to unpaid fees, then to payment of any vehicle you have won in auction.
If there are no outstanding fees at the time of payment, you will receive your PIN verification. You will receive this by e-mail with details on the pick-up. If you have not received an email or have accidentally deleted it, you can easily read or 'regenerate' the PIN in the payment history in the Member Portal. If you do not pick up the vehicle yourself, this is no problem, simply forward the PIN verbally, via e-mail or SMS directly from the Member Portal to the transporter. This way, all important information such as pick-up location, LOT number and PIN can be clearly transmitted. As soon as all costs have been paid, the vehicle can be picked up with the PIN. If this has not yet been done, the transporter has the option to pay the fees on site in cash, by EC or credit card and then take the vehicle. Please note: Buyers have five business days, including sale confirmation date, to pick up their vehicles before Late Removal Fee begin accruing.
The buyer is responsible for the transport of the vehicle if the delivery service is not used. The vehicle documents will be sent to you as soon as possible. When they are sent, you will get the tracking ID from UPS.
